Biography
Missy is the founder and principal photographer of Missy McLamb Photographers, Inc. She has personally photographed more than 300 weddings for celebrity, society and discerning clients who place a high priority on photography for their wedding. Missy’s engagement portraits and wedding photographs regularly appear in the style section of The New York Times, Elegant Bride Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, and The Knot. A graduate of the prestigious School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC-Chapel Hill, Missy worked in the picture department at Time and interned for Newsday in New York prior to launching her wedding photography business in North Carolina. Missy is based both in Raleigh, and New York City and is available for weddings and portrait commissions throughout the country. Preferred camera formats: 35mm; toy cameras (Dianas, Holgas); medium (6x7 cm) and large format (8x10 in)
